The times warrant every effort the ministry can afford the service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ today. We praise our great and wise Heavenly Father for allowing us the privilege of laboring in His harvest fields. Our agenda has demanded us to stay busy laboring in the Gospel. For this we are most thankful, yet there is great personal sacrifice involved. Our time away from family and loved ones often saddens us leaving us feeling pulled in two directions especially now with my dad battling cancer (Please remember him in your prayers). Yet we continue in faith knowing that our time of reunion, as always, will come. Recently, after an extended evangelistic tour, the Lord rewarded my wife and me with a wonderful trip alone, away from everything. Although we talk constantly throughout the day everyday, still we often feel we’re loosing touch. However, as we began to share with one another, really connecting at heart and soul, we began to contemplate the road we’ve traveled (or many roads) over the past 25 years of ministry. And even though those roads have often separated us physically, we both decided we’d do it all over again. When we married 28 years ago we both worked secular jobs. We feel the greatest gift the Lord sent into our union was the call and a place to labor in His field. Nothing else this world could offer could give us the reward of a life fulfilled and the hope of finishing our course when Jesus calls us home. We testify that the Lord has strengthened our love because of our obedience to Him, not the opposite. God has been so good to us, providing everything we’ve ever needed and much more. Our children know the value of service with sacrifice and are not afraid of the unknown for they follow the One Who knows all and leads the way. It would have been impossible to survive spiritually on the path our lives have traveled had it not been for a true and sure call from Him. Who knows, maybe we’ve got another 25 good years in us, if so let it be for Him! What has He called you for my Friend? Go for it…you won’t regret it…and God go with you!!!

Miracle Service

It was awesome to witness God fill Matthew and several others with the Holy Ghost baptism this cold Monday evening in February. However, having a service on this particular night was a miracle in itself. A severe winter storm was forecast to hit Boone County just hours before service time depositing 6 to 7 inches of ice and snow in it’s wake. However, the people of God prayed, asking the Lord to either dissipate the storm or allow it to bypass us so that we wouldn’t have to cancel this last night of revival services. Having received several promises of visitors with spiritual needs to join them this night the Church was intent on touching God for these souls sake. Pastor L. Fontenot made the decision to proceed with service as scheduled. It was astounding to see the faith exercised by the saints of God to attend revival in such inclement weather. God honored their faith sweeping the house with His tremendous power and blessings baptizing many of their invited guests with the Holy Ghost. The following day’s weather report stated that the storm that had been predicted to land upon us had “split in half’ and hit counties directly above and below us. As we were leaving the city the day following we drove into the areas where the storm actually hit. Sure-enough 8 inches of snow lay frosting the beautiful Ozark mountainsides. (There was absolutely no accumulation in Boone County at all.) Prayer works!!!

I Received the Holy Ghost

My name is Bobbi and I received the Holy Ghost. I really didn’t know at first what happened then I started getting strength in my body more than in my entire life. Since then I have been baptized in Jesus name. It’s not always easy going through valleys but you come to realize the Lord is there with you. You know you’re going to get through because you’re not by yourself. I want to thank the Lord for standing by me - though I left Him, He never left me. I am looking forward to all the blessings coming from the Lord in my life.
